Salvors have successfully lifted 182 containers from the vessel.  The outstanding container units remain on board the 'BLUE GIANT'.

Salvage operations continue and the vessel is still aground.

Please contact us if you have an interest in any cargo on board.

For those who have already advised of their interest, once we are able to advise further regarding inspections of cargo, we will revert.

We can further advise that the vessel remains aground with holds 2, 3 and 4 flooded.

Salvors have commenced off-loading of the containers and these are presently secured on the BLUE GIANT, which sits alongside the ATLANTIC PEACH.

We shall advise further when storage facilities ashore are confirmed.

Security teams both ashore and offshore actively monitor the conditions.

Please contact us at claims@blueseasadjusters.comshould you have an interest in cargo and/or containers on board the vessel at the time of the incident; we can advise how to progress with regard to General Average and Salvage Security demands.

We are proud to support the Charity Octopus for a Preemie UK, who are a group of men and women from all over the country who crochet or knit little octopuses and jellyfish, prepared with care, to comfort babies who arrive into the world a little earlier than expected.

To the premature baby, the carefully made octopuses’ tentacles feel like their mother’s umbilical cord. Comforting the baby and reducing the risk of the little one pulling the medical bits and bobs they may need and potentially cause serious problems for them.

The octopuses and jellyfish are donated to maternity wings of hospitals

Annie spends her spare time crocheting for this charity, one that we believe is an extremely worthwhile cause.
